Nearby Nature Experiences for Human Health and Wellness – What do we know?

Please join the Office of Sustainability and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as we welcome Dr. Kathleen Wolf to Cleveland (see attached flyer).  Her presentation titled “Nearby Nature Experiences for Health and Well-being” will be given on Wednesday, March 29th at 7pm in the Museum’s Rare Book Room.  The fee for the presentation is $5 and registration is required.  Register here.

Dr. Wolf is a Research Social Scientist with the College of the Environment, University of Washington in Seattle with a joint appointment with the US Forest Service Pacific NW Research Station. Dr. Wolf is a nationally recognized expert in the field of urban forestry and greening and the co-benefits of green infrastructure. Her research is summarized on two websites: Green Cities: Good Health and Human Dimensions of Urban Forestry and Urban Greening.
