WEBINAR: Rain to River: Raise Awareness about Stormwater Pollution

March 28, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Learn how to protect local waterways by organizing your own storm drain stenciling volunteer event. Connect residents to their local waterways by empowering them to stencil educational messages next to storm drains. Learn everything you need to know to hold a successful stenciling event in your community, including how to borrow all of the supplies (for free!) that you will need from Ohio University’s Voinovich School. This webinar is for you if you are a unit of local government, non-profit community organization, or an organization that seeks public service activities. Tailored to the Appalachian region of the Ohio River Watershed, webinar and stenciling supplies are funded by a grant from Ohio EPA’s Ohio Environmental Education Fund.

Sarah Cornwell, Environmental Specialist from the Voinovich School, will be presenting and available to answer questions during the webinar.
