Watershed education is hitting the road! TCWP is launching the Tinker’s Creek Water Cycle, a mobile, self-contained education cart designed to bring hands-on learning to classrooms, festivals, parks, and community events.

What’s on board?

  • Stormwater models
  • Interactive learning activities
  • Educational displays and outreach materials

This innovative cart makes watershed science accessible, engaging, and unforgettable for all ages.

Why it matters:
Stormwater pollution is one of the biggest threats to water quality in the Tinker’s Creek and Brandywine Creek watersheds. Many residents, especially youth, haven’t seen how stormwater travels, how pollution enters our streams, or how daily choices influence water quality. The Water Cycle brings these concepts to life.

Help us make it happen:
We launched this project on Giving Tuesday, and thanks to early support, the Tinker’s Creek Water Cycle is rolling closer to reality. Every contribution helps us reach more classrooms, parks, and community events, giving more people the chance to see how they can make a difference in our watershed.

Stay tuned for this hands-on, on-the-go learning experience!
