Our Darrow Road Park restoration project, funded through an Ohio EPA section 319 grant, is once again open to the public! This project added sinuosity (curviness) to the existing stream channel to improve habitat and reduce erosion. With new riffle, pool, and woody debris habitat, animals such as frogs, fish, and aquatic invertebrates will have plenty of new space to live within the park. Several invasive plants were also removed from the project area, with native plantings currently scheduled for spring of 2026. We are proud to have partnered with EnviroScience and the City of Hudson to implement this restoration project.
