Garfield Heights Library Program

The objective of this program is to introduce children to other types of creek life and how pollution affects them. We’ll be engaging the children with an interactive experiment where they learn about watersheds and pollution. Afterwards, there will be an open microscopy demonstration where children can see water bugs (macroinvertebrates) for themselves! Key concepts to be introduced are: macroinvertebrate, stormwater, pollutant, watershed, and more.
