The 2026 Ohio Stormwater Conference in Sandusky convened nearly 1,100 attendees, more than 130 sponsors and exhibitors, and 86 presenters for the largest conference in the event’s history.
Held in Sandusky, the conference welcomed stormwater professionals, engineers, watershed organizations, consultants, researchers, local officials, and environmental leaders from across Ohio and beyond to share knowledge, explore innovative solutions and technologies, and strengthen partnerships focused on protecting water resources.
Conference Chair Harry Stark, TCWP Executive Director Dr. Erica Matheny, and Ana Burns of Davey Resource Group and the Ohio Stormwater Association welcomed attendees and helped kick off three days of technical education, networking, and collaboration centered around stormwater management, watershed restoration, infrastructure resilience, and water quality protection.
In addition to educational sessions and exhibits, attendees participated in a variety of training, networking and social events throughout the week, including Envirocert professional training sessions, a 1920’s speakeasy-themed networking night, and a disco-themed reception. In addition, the conference included an after-reception networking event with all proceeds benefitting the Stacey Faile Memorial Scholarship for high school and college students.
The conference also featured technical sessions, field opportunities, exhibitor engagement, and discussions on emerging challenges and innovations impacting communities across the Great Lakes region.
The continued growth of the Ohio Stormwater Conference reflects the increasing importance of collaboration and shared learning as communities work to address evolving water quality and infrastructure challenges.
TCWP extends its appreciation to the planning committee, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, and attendees who helped make this year’s conference a tremendous success.
