As a native of Northeast Ohio, passionate about the health of ecosystems, habitats, and waterways, he works to educate engineers and contractors about the importance of stormwater management. Currently the Regional Engineer at Advanced Drainage Systems, he is responsible for understanding stormwater-related EPA policy and the financial implications for levels of compliance.

After twenty-five years as an engineer in transportation and water resources, Matt enjoys annoying his family by pointing out unique designs characteristics and flaws in municipal infrastructure during family vacations abroad.

He is an avid collector of books and a devoted observer of salamanders, moths, and birds. He lives in Shaker Heights (Doan Brook Watershed) with his wife, dog, and two housecats.
