Dr. John L. Day has a Doctorate in Education and is a retired Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He was in clinical practice 28 years working with traumatized children. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Northern University where he majored in Psychology and Social Work with a minor in Philosophy and Religion and a Masters in Social Work from West Virginia University.
Dr. Day is a retired tenured professor of psychology at Wabash Valley College; where he taught for 20 years. He taught courses in Psychology, Philosophy, Ethics, and others.
Dr. Day has a lifelong passion for for the “out-of-doors”. He describes himself as “a kid who always loved to play outside.” He has always believed deeply in the value of service and now, in retirement, devotes his free time to hiking, biking and environmental preservation activities
