Alyson is the owner of Cambium and a certified Shinrin Yoku (forest therapy) practitioner. Through her work, she fosters meaningful connections between people and nature by leading intentional gatherings and immersive forest experiences that promote wellness, reflection, and community.
Originally from Wayne County, Alyson enjoys exploring the abundance of parks and greenspaces in Northeast Ohio with her fiancé and two pups, Daisy and Dakota. Her childhood experiences in nature instilled within her a passion and appreciation that led her to the conservation field. Alyson earned a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources with a minor in Conservation Ecology from West Virginia University. Additionally, she holds certifications as an interpretive guide and in forest therapy. She has a passion for connecting others with nature. Her professional career has been enriched by experiences in wildlife research, habitat planning, stormwater management, and community engagement. Alyson is grateful to use her diverse experience to serve and connect her local community with Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners.
